Rossini: Overture to The Barber of Seville
Liszt: Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2
Mozart: Eine Kleine Nachtmusik, K. 525, mvt. 1
Arr. Brubaker: What’s Up at the Symphony
Bagley/Schissel: National Emblem March
Closing out the 103rd season of the CSO, Indiana’s longest running orchestra, is a mostly lighthearted program of music many of us enjoy in family situations. Rossini’s “Overture to The Barber of Seville” will bring happy reminders of a cartoon classic of yesteryear. So too will Liszt’s “Hungarian Rhapsody #2” and an arrangement of music of various famous movie tunes, “What’s Up at the Symphony.” A surprise or two may pop up along the way as well. To cap off the season we hope to inspire unity in the community with the “National Emblem” march by Bagley.
