Spring is in the air to be sure with this concert when we will feature concertmaster Phil Palermo playing the Violin Concerto #4 by Mozart. Beethoven’s “Pastoral” Symphony #6, first movement and the lovely “Pavane” by Faure suggest the idyllic nature of spring. The rousing “Russian Easter Overture” by Rimsky-Korsakov gives the entire orchestra a chance to shine.
